Echo Mountain and the Ski & Ride School are closed for the 2011-2012 ski season. We plan to open for the 2012-2013 ski season in early Dec 2012.

All Echo Ski & Ride School students are separated by discipline (ski or snowboard), age and ability level to promote learning, safety and fun. Lessons are taught by trained instructors that have all passed a criminal background check.

LESSON TIMES: Kids lessons are 2 hours long except the Parent & Me lesson

KIDS SNOWBOARD LESSONS

Rippers Snowboard Lessons – ages 7-12
Older kids have the physical development and learning capacity to learn new skills quickly. Our instructors teach the proper techniques that will help take 7-12 year-old snowboarders to the next level and keep them safe as they begin exploring more of the mountain.

Lil' Rippers Snowboard Experience - ages 5-7*
This program is designed to provide those little guys and gals, who “really want to snowboard,” with a positive experience on snow. Class size is limited to 3 students so the instructor can provide each student the attention and “hands on” time needed to get him/her balancing and moving on his/her board. 

*7 year-old snowboarders may opt to take the Lil’ Rippers lesson if there is space available otherwise they will be placed in a Rippers Lesson

KIDS SKI LESSONS

Explorers Ski Lessons - ages 7-12

Discovery Ski Lessons – ages 4-6
In order to turn little skiers into life long skiers, Echo instructors create FUN lessons catered to your 4-6 year-old's interests, physical development, and attention span.

Parent & Me Private Lessons – age 3 & a parent
A 1 hour lesson to teach you how to work with your 3 year-old on skis and prepare him/her for group instruction by age 4.

RESERVATIONS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS POLICY

• Call the Ski & Ride School Desk at 303-325-7347, ext. 2 to make a reservation
• Advanced reservations and pre-payment are required (Please book early to guarantee your spot)
  
• A non-refundable payment is taken at the time of reservation
• We do not accept day of reservations
• Walk-ins generally cannot be accomodated
• No refunds will be issued; lessons may be rescheduled a minimum of 24 hours before the reserved start time
• Lessons cannot be rescheduled within 24 hours of the reserved start time

  • Echo Mountain 2011-2012 Waiver for everyone skiing or riding at Echo Mountain
  • Ski & Ride School Child Release for all Ski & Ride School students age 12 and under
    
  • Echo Mountain Rental Equipment Sign Up for everyone renting equipment from Echo Mountain

• Check-in at the Ski & Ride School desk (from the parking lot, enter the 1st door on the left and walk straight ahead)
• Plan to check-in for your lesson at least 1 hour early, especially if you're renting equipment
• For those renting equipment, the lesson check-in line will close 45 minutes prior to the designated lesson start time
  If you are not in the lesson check-in line at this time, you will not be allowed in the lesson. You will be moved to the next available lesson time.
• For those not renting equipment, the lesson check-in line will close 30 minutes prior to the designated lesson start time
  If you are not in the lesson check-in line at this time, you will not be allowed in the lesson. You will be moved to the next available lesson time.
• Meet on the patio 5 minutes prior to the lesson start time; all lessons begin promptly at the designated start time
  
• Please plan accordingly, take weather into consideration, and give yourself plenty of time to arrive at the mountain, take your child to the restroom, and get him/her dressed and geared up
